Sitka was born deaf, and was one of the first deaf dogs ever to receive an obedience title. She has an AMBOR CD with a high score of 197 and an average score of 190.  She is incredibly intelligent and always willing to work. 

Sitka was very successful in agility. She won the 24 inch class with 35 competitors in a USDAA trial. It was an exhilarating day! She has legs in gamblers and jumpers in NADAC and USDAA. An injury to her cruciate ligament and epilepsy cut her career short.

She is very eager to work for a ball or food so motivation and motivation to figure out the behavior quickly has NEVER been a problem. She is first and foremost an extremely hard working dog, even frantic at times which made us a great match. She loves to work. She has the best focus of any dog I have seen. She will problem solve for literally hours and never tires of any training or activity. I would love to have another dog like her. She has taught us tons about training a deaf dog.
